Song is a wonderful and powerful tool in the life of the Christian. Song lifts the heart and mind to heaven and opens a person to the messages that are always coming from heaven to those who what to hear. In the Bible, song was used for celebration over foes, celebration for God’s wonderful works, Jesus and the disciples sang a song before they left the upper room and began to walk to Gethsamane, and so much more. 

Not all music will point us to God and not even all “Christian” music will lead us to a life that reflects the principles of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount.
